Gwyneth Paltrow Presented with Capparelli Artwork at Gala Event in Manhattan

Gwyneth Paltrow

ORADELL, NJ, AUGUST 3, 2009- Hollywood star and lifestyles advocate Gwyneth Paltrow was presented an original watercolor by famed Sports Artist and educator, Tony Capparelli at the Tribeca Rooftop celebrating her recognition at this years Children of the City Gala. The event was hosted by ABC TV personality Bill Evans on July 29.

The watercolor titled A View from Talavera de la Reina was created as a thank you for Ms. Paltrow's support of the Gala, and a tribute to her love of Spain.

Capparelli's artwork is familiar to sports fans as well. Recently, the NJ Devils honored Martin Brodeur and Mike Emrick with Capparelli originals during televised, on-ice ceremonies. His mural depicting the Cup-winning goal by NY Islanders Bob Nystrom hangs at the Nassau Coliseum. Tony also conducts a yearly Sports Art event with Yogi Berra at his Museum in NJ.
